"We are given such a miniscule amount of time on this earth. And to do what? Live? Yes, live life to the fullest, but what does it really amount to? A few plaques on the wall, maybe. Some children to carry on your legacy, if you're lucky. Maybe I don't want that. I want to create my own life and not live by the idea of legacy."
The Latitude of Life, a full-length play, will receive a staged reading with Alley Repertory Theater on July 14 at 8pm. It is part of the Plays from the Alley series at Alley Rep. Plays from the Alley features new plays from Idaho playwrights. Staged readings, with local actors and directors, will take place on Tuesdays in July. Other featured playwrights include Phil Atlakson and Evan Sesek.
The Latitude of Life is my third full-length play. It also received a reading with HomeGrown Theatre in January of 2015.
